Mustache Party 2008

The back story of the 1st Annual CASA DE MUSTACHIO

I had a few good reasons to have people over, so I decided to throw a party. My friend Peter was in town for a week. Justin Thomas was moving away because apparently we have to grow up eventually. And last, I had grown tired of the mustache that I had technically been wearing for 6 months and it was time to shave. When deciding the theme, it was easy to pick which of the three was more important to me; thus the name Casa de Moustachio. I had ordered fake mustaches for the guests that were not so endowed. The food was also pretty good. I had a cake from Jake’s Tex-Mex, chips and salsa from Mexi-Cali, tri-tip on sandwich rolls from Pyrenee’s, happy face cookie’s from Smith’s with mustaches subbed for the smiles, vanilla ice-cream from Dewar’s, and a keg of root beer from Lengthwise. It’s was basically all of my local favorites under one roof. What better send off for my friends who would be leaving Bakersfield for a while? I had a great time and I’m pretty sure that everybody that came enjoyed their selves as well. I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking. But I should also thank all of you who helped me, it didn’t go unnoticed.
